For the past 16 years, Relief Foundation International (RFI) has been dedicated to empowering communities through our innovative “Qurbani baraye Khud Mukhtari” initiative. This project goes beyond traditional Qurbani practices by not only performing sacrificial offerings but also empowering local farmers and communities. Last year, with the support of our generous donors, we successfully performed 821 Qurbanis, benefiting around 6000 families across Pakistan. Through this project, we aim to provide meat to widowed mothers, orphaned children, refugees, and individuals who are sick, disabled, or otherwise in need—many of whom can only afford to eat meat during Baqraeed, thanks to the generosity of our donors.
The Waqf Qurbani project is vital for several reasons:
Neither their meat nor blood reaches Allah. Rather, it is your piety that reaches Him.
Contribution Collection: Generous donors contribute to the “Waqf Qurbani” project by sponsoring a whole/share of a cow or a whole goat.
Local Farmer Engagement: We actively engage with local farmers, purchasing livestock directly from them at fair prices, thus empowering them economically.

Established in 2008, RFI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency relief and sustainable development programs to communities around the world, regardless of their backgrounds. At Relief Foundation International (RFI), we believe that everyone deserves access to basic necessities such as food, healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.
Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to provide support to vulnerable communities and have provided assistance to those affected by natural disasters, poverty, conflict, and displacement. Our emergency relief efforts have included providing food, shelter, clothing, and medical assistance to those in need.
We are grateful to Allah (SWT) for the progress we have made since our establishment in 2008, and we remain committed to making a positive impact in the world.
